About

Brandon Meawasige is a strategic leader working at the intersection of communications, systems design, and organizational transformation. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Indspire, one of Canada’s leading national charities, where he has played a central role in shaping organizational strategy, brand, and public engagement.

With more than a decade of experience across marketing, media, and digital communications, Brandon has led initiatives spanning large-scale public campaigns, event design, and digital transformation. His work is grounded in a deep understanding of how narrative, ritual, and experience shape how people engage with complex systems, including those surrounding grief, memory, and legacy.

Brandon, who began his career in the space, returns to death care with systems-thinking approach, focusing on how design, storytelling, and technology can help the Memorial Collective reimagine end-of-life experiences. His perspective is informed by both professional leadership and academic research as a Master of Design (MDes) candidate in Strategic Foresight and Innovation at OCAD University.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from McMaster University and a Graduate Certificate from St. Lawrence College, and has previously worked across both startup and enterprise environments.
